Weight is one part of garment choice
GSM is fabric weight per square meter. It helps describe how much body a fabric has; it does not, by itself, prove softness, durability, wash resistance or print quality.
- 180 gsm cotton is the lighter option for everyday shirts, individual gifts and event apparel.
- 205 gsm Comfort Blend is soft, smooth and fluid, with more drape than a structured heavyweight tee.
- 320 gsm cotton has a dense, matte and structured feel for a heavier silhouette.
Compare composition as well as weight
The 180 gsm and 320 gsm shirts are listed as 100% cotton. The 205 gsm Comfort Blend is listed as 50.7% cotton, 36.2% polyester and 13.1% viscose. Compare feel and construction rather than treating a higher GSM number as a quality guarantee.

Match the garment to the project
